Meet Emily Owner of Worth Saying Speech Therapy
Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of Worth Saying Speech Therapy.
I became a speech-language pathologist because communication is such an important part of who we are. It’s how we connect with the people we love, advocate for ourselves, share our ideas, and participate in the world around us. Being able to help someone find, strengthen, or regain that ability is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
For a child, that might mean finally being understood when they tell a story, feeling confident raising their hand in class, or no longer being afraid to say a word because of how it sounds. For an adult, it might mean regaining communication skills after an illness or injury, expressing their needs more independently, or simply feeling like themselves again.
My professional journey spans the entire human lifespan, ranging from school settings and clinics to hospitals and intensive rehab centers. These diverse roles revealed that true therapeutic success goes far beyond clinical metrics or classroom drills. I believe the real value lies in empowering clients to apply their progress where life truly happens within their families, social circles, education, and daily routines.
I created Worth Saying to offer therapy that feels personal, encouraging, and purposeful. I want kids to grow up feeling confident in their communication. I want adults who have lost skills to feel empowered as they work to regain them. And I want every person I work with to know that therapy is a place where they will be supported, challenged, celebrated, and genuinely listened to.

Worth Saying Speech Therapy Approach
Worth Saying Speech Therapy provides individualized speech, language, and cognitive-communication therapy for children and adults. My goal is to make therapy feel comfortable, encouraging, and specific to the person I’m working with.
For kids, that means building skills while also helping them become more confident communicators. For adults, therapy may focus on regaining communication or cognitive skills, increasing independence, and making everyday life a little easier.
Services are available through home-based visits throughout Central Ohio and surrounding areas, as well as telehealth throughout Ohio.
